Beginning of my internship in Brussel !
I just started my internship yesterday at the Institute of polar glaciology of the Free University of Brussel and my first impression about here are really good.
My advisor is a very intersting and full of knowledge person and the atmosphere here is really nice.
I just got the final theme of my research and it will be :
"The preservation of burried glacier ice in the Dry Valley (East Antarctica)" and I like it a lot. It is a pretty new subject for me and I have to learn a lot about it so yet I am reading articles and thesis about it.
Otherweise, my belgien life is going ok, even if I have to wake up very early every day and do a lot of train, I feel pretty ok with it and I can go swimming almost everyday so that is the most important... of course!!!! :p

That sounds great! I am happy you are having a good time there, and you know what?? Some crazy friend of me once told me that waking up early is good for the health!!!
I just came back from the International Party at UEA, it was GREAT, so wonderful.. Lots of demontrations from different countries and lots of dancing... next year we'll go together!!
